The term "post-bop" gets slapped on the descriptions of a lot of contemporary uptempo jazz tunes, I guess in Jingo's case, it's right on the money. It even employs a very bopish melodic triplet to lead off a traditional twelve bar form (think Clifford Brown) ... so, I of course, had to add a very non-traditional "on the upbeat" rhythmic phrase for the intro (think Joe Henderson).
