"Behind the Shadows, part 1"

"Behind the Shadows" was a spontaneous solo duet with Sam, recorded in three sections without lengthy pause or discussion. I picked the first and third to be included on the album, but placed the 3rd recorded segment first and called it "Part 1". I made sure to watch Sam, breathing with him, matching his musical phrasing or contrasting ... just trying to tell a musical story by weaving together a common musical motif/line.
